I’ts a one day workshop of 7 hours.

The Workshop “Dance of spirits” is essential training of Galdrtanz (The Rune dance). Focusing on two basic techniques: *Galdr wave and *Rune Touch, we will try to go deeper in to the runic realm, experiencing the powers and miracles of this gifts from gods… In the process of creating this unique dance / spiritual style, these two techniques form the foundation. We practice at one small theatre at the river. During one of our rehearsals, while we were dancing the runes, the river became very agitated, the sky became dark, as if it was going to rain; a few birds gathered around this river building, and the river snakes also came. It was strange, but it strikes us that doing this dance, we attract the natural energy to us, just by dancing; without concentration or visualization, or doing some complicated ritual work. At the moment we stopped with dancing, everything goes back to normal. Every time we rehearse, or did some performance, some miracle like this happened. Which brings us to the point that just by dancing this gift from the gods we makes changes, bring energy and can perform amazing miracles.
*Galdr wave – This technique is described as story telling dance, using formation and vibration of runes.
*Rune Touch – this is a complex technique, which uses different foundations, but the major inspiration is in contemporary dance, improvisation and meditation. Using runes as symbols is one of the most important rules. Other parts of dance concerns personal development and the inspiration of the dancer…
This workshop is for everybody who likes to dance, or likes to learn; you do not require previous knowledge of runes or dancing, or any spiritual experiences:
“If you can move you can dance!”
The workshop is presented by Marco Nektan which is the innovator of this Rune dance style.

Galdrtanz is an active system of spiritual flow that consists of the assumption of runic positions or moves for spiritual effect… Moves and postures form some part of almost every metaphysical or spiritual school. This can be seen from the simple folding of hands in prayer to the extremely complex system of asanas in the Indian hatha yoga school, through ritual dances of shamans to the whirling of Sufis. Galdrtanz is balanced in this respect. The number and intricacy of the moves are varied enough to be expressive of the wide variety of forces present, with maximum focus and opening to the energies. …Galdrtanz is used as a mode of psychological integration and personal transmutation and it is also employed as a tool of spiritual and artistic liberation.
Galdrtanz is an inspirational and progressive form of contemporary dance, created on the foundation of the energies, meaning and vibration of Elder Futhark Runes and different techniques of artistic dances (Ballet, Contemporary dance, Folklore…). What is the most important part that separates Galdrtanz from other contemporary dances is that in this case every move of rune dancer is an expression of his emotions, ideas and inspirations through rune symbols; to connect the dancer with the realm of runes and influence on his spiritual growth… Galdrtanz is using 4 basic techniques (Galdr wave, Rune Way, Runet, Rune Touch) and several synthetic techniques (Rune Warm up, Yggdrasil meditation, Rune Stretch, Rune healing dance…) and it is still developing…

At the same time, you will get the Paypal information for your payment of the non-refundable deposit of EURO 50.-.Please do it within 3 days when you receive this email. Your reservation will be confirmed upon reception of your payment. The CHF 100.- has to be paid cash on the day of the Workshop.

Cancellations:
There is no refund by cancellation. If we have a waiting list and someone can take your place, we will refund you, or you send someone instead of you. In this case, please inform us as soon as possible.
In the unlikely event that the event is cancelled, you will be fully reimbursed.
